The
Royals Club is an extension of the St. James PTA. The Royals
Club has co presidents, who are also members of the St.
James
PTA board and serve a two-year term. The PTA oversees all
activities and supports all funding needs.
Any adult male
who has a child or relative enrolled at St. James Elementary
School can join the Royals Club. There are many events and
activities that the Royals organize or help with and members
are always welcome.
The Club organizes a couple of monthly entertainment activities
throughout the school year for grades K-8. Examples of these
activities are Friday Night at the Movies (School Cafeteria),
Father/Daughter Dinner Dance, Father/Son Hockey Night (Trenton),
Basketball Blowout, and various theme nights. In addition,
they help coordinate the building of the St. James Halloween
Float that marches in the annual Red Bank Halloween Parade.
The Royals also assist with painting, landscaping (seasonal
clean up), and help with other large PTA events such as
Breakfast with Santa, Grandparents Tea and Harvest Family
Social. This is an excellent way to earn your partnership
for excellence
points (1 point for every 1 ½ -2 hours of active
participation in an event) and meet other dads/parents
of
your children.
The Royals Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month
in the school cafeteria at 7 PM for approximately 30-45
minutes.
