Values & Virtues Spotlight: Diversity This month, we shine the spotlight on diversity. We are all different. Whether it is our skin color or our hair color or our height or weight or the speed in which we finish reading a book, we are all different. But that is what makes us all so special and unique and wonderful. We are all God’s creation and He made us different so we could learn and grow from one another. What a boring world it would be if we all thought the same thoughts, liked the same music, and ate the same foods! The next time a classmate or a friend “bugs” you because they don’t want to do exactly what you want to do when you want to do it, thank them instead of getting bothered by them. Maybe, just maybe, if you looked at something a little differently, or tried a new activity with a new friend, you might just find that you are enjoying yourself even more!
